With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Horvot of Colonia, New Jersey, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ester Helfrich and William Helfrich of Elizabeth; and her husband Edward Steve Horvot of Colonia. She is survived by: her son Don C. Schmitz; her daughter-in-law Olga C. Schmitz of Tallahassee; her granddaughter Cassie Cornish (Mike Cornish) of Boston; and her great grandchild Jewel Elizabeth Cornish.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a memorial service will be held in Colonia, New Jersey in the future.
