He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Henriques and Alfred Henriques; his wife Kathleen Schade; his children, Phil and Carrie; his grandchildren, Alexa and Nicholas; and his son-in-law Richard Velotti.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
