She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sawicki and Jacqueline Sawicki; her husband Charles John "Bud" Custer; her grandparents, Joe and Mary Rusin; her aunt Jean Tedesco; and also Charles Custer (Bud).

She is survived by: her friends, Cathy, Gina and Gerri; her sons, Charles John "Buddy" Custer Jr. (Alexandra) and Christopher Joseph Custer (Marissa); her grandchildren, Quinn and Connor; her mother-in-law Frances Custer; her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Valeriano (Thomas), Ronald Custer (Katherine), Lynda Roberts (William) and Diane Keenan; her nieces, Nina Thompson (Jay), Renee Roberts, Stephanie Roberts and Alyssa Valeriano (Dylan); her nephew Patrick Keenan; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Jay, Parker and Logan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
