Michael Paul Saunders Jr. Obituary
Michael Paul Saunders, Jr., age 30, of Cedar Brook, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday September 5, 2017. Beloved son of Karen Saunders Perez (Juan) and Michael P. Saunders, Sr. (Bernadette). Loving brother of Jane Elizabeth Saunders (Chase). Dear grandson of Doris and the late Richard Saunders, and Ralph E. and Jane Hadley Maple.
Michael is also survived and will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles Rich (BJ), John, Mary (Steve), Lee Ann (Doylton), Joan (Richard), and Stewart, as well as cousins Richard Saunders, Jennifer Valentino, Kelly Flinn, Megan Cools, Paige Davis, Andrew Lewis, Jack Hixon, Helen Hixon, and Hazel Hixon. Michael Paul (MP) was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Winslow Township all of his life.
He served as the Vice President and Project Manager of Lasher Contracting, helping build the company from the ground up. Blessed with the virtue of patience, Michael precepts over sixty employees throughout his career. We are most proud of his two biggest projects, The Historic Ritz in Atlantic City and the Philadelphia Naval Base.
He loved anything on two wheels, working high in the sky, lifting weights, Sunday family dinners, and working on his beloved truck. To know MP was to love him. We will always treasure his beautifully contagious smile and his ability to make others laugh. Mikey, you are at peace with God now. May you rest easy and know how much you are loved.
Viewing will be held on Monday September 11, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael"s name to http://www.newleashonlife-usa.org.
