He is survived by: his wife Betsey; his children, Amy Bruno (Peter) and Andrew Styers Gavitt (Heather); his grandchildren, Oliver Bruno, Caroline Bruno and Elizabeth Gavitt; and his siblings, Walter Jospeh Gavitt (Robin), Carol Washko (Jack Timony) and June Phillips. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
