She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Schwartz and Barbara Sepnefski Schwartz; her husband Joseph M. Flannery Sr.; her daughter Kathleen Lowery; her grandsons, Louis and Brian Makker; her great grandchild Jackson Carr; and her brother Richard Schwartz.

She is survived by: her children, Maureen (Michael Kelly), Joseph M. Jr. (Ruth Flannery), John (Joanne Flannery) and Rosemary (Louis Makker); and her siblings, Ronald Schwartz, Alice, Stanley Schwartz and Pam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial donations are made to St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 223 East Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016.

“When I connected with Gloria on many occasions, she spoke lovingly of her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the passion for her faith, her dedication to her parish and her trips to Alvernia. She was a great mom who guided her children through life with a firm hand, while the other hand gently patted them on the shoulder in comfort from life's trials and tribulations. I will miss those conversations, although we will continue albeit it will be "long-distance." Cousin John.”
