She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Peggy Sheard; and her grandparents, Lawrence Sr., Helen Van Riper, Robert and Minnie Jack.

She is survived by: her mother Gwendolyn Van Riper (Jack); her niece Shannon; her husband Robert Sheard; her daughter Jennifer Owens (Anthony); her father Lawrence Van Riper Jr; her father-in-law Gerald Sheard; her sisters, Diane Perillo (Thomas) and Dawn Foote (Michael); and her pet Patch. She is also survived by 4 brother in laws and their wives, 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great niece.
