Ann wrote a sympathy message

“My dearest Andy; more like a son than a brother-in-law. Watched you grow from a wild and funny teenage boy to a calmer (but still funny) man. It hurts so much you are not with us physically and at some moments I can't help crying. But to have had the joy of knowing you and being part of your family will keep you in my heart as long as I am alive.”
