With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Hopkins of Browns Mills, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 29, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hopkins and Florence Hopkins; and his siblings, Timothy Hopkins, Edward Hopkins and Florence McCormick.

He is survived by: his wife Lu Hopkins; his children, Debbie (David Jones), Albert Jr. (Christina Hopkins), Christine (Solomon Osorio), Robert (Toni Hopkins), Roger (Betsy Hopkins), Susanne (Donald Fisher) and Andrew Hopkins; his grandchildren, Adrianna (Brian), Savannah (Terrell), Katerina, Drew (Tyler), Jordan, Kadin, Anthony, Alice, Laura, Kayla, Logan, Vanessa (Hans), Emilio, Curtis, Colbie, Donovan, Isabel, Ayden, Autumn, Audrey, Donald Jr. and Jade; and his great grandchildren, Ansley, Amelia, Lillie-Ann, Ty and Rhett.

“I’m so sorry to hear of Al’s passing,I just found out today 7-21-22 I have been trying to call his phone for several months now only getting his full answering on his cell . I have the coin store in Pemberton that he was in every week until he got sick with cancer and Covid,he was my favorite customers and friend and will miss his cheerful demeanor and joking ways in my store . Again so sorry for his family”
