He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ingolf Helland and Harriet Helland; his brother Norman; his wife Joan Evelyn Helland; and his children, Kristin, Karl and Karin. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
