It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Carpenter of Bernardsville, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth (Mary Firestine) and NJ; and her brother Kenneth Firestine Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dexter Carpenter; her daughters, Dawn Borchert and Tara Carpenter; her son-in-law John Borchert Jr.; and her grandchildren, Zachary Borchert, Evan Borchert, Ashlyn Flora and Holden Flora.
