He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Van Auken and William J. Van Auken. He is survived by: his children, Courtney Van Auken Wurst (Brett), Christian Van Auken, Luke Van Auken (Lexi) and Jude Van Auken; his siblings, Carol Ann Van Auken, Thomas W. Van Auken (Mindy) and Marie Shostedt (James); and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Granato (Lou) and Vito Palo (Fran). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
