He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Eugene Johnston and Violet Loudermilk Gruber; and his brother Charles Eugene Johnston. He is survived by: his son Randy Drue Johnston, Jr.; his siblings, Gary Johnston (Donna) and Candy Teal (Steve); his sister-in-law Lisa Johnston; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Hernandez (Bobby), Jeremy Head, Jenna Ruiz (Gabe), Brian Johnston, Caroline Johnston, Nick Johnston (Lindsey) and Christopher Johnston (Nancy Lee Johnston). He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
