He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Robert H. MacWilliams. He is survived by: his mother Mary Pat MacWilliams; his siblings, Robert MacWilliams (Alison), Nancy O'Reilly (Bernard), Trish Bowe and Maureen Alleman (Robb); his nephew Finnbarr O'Reilly; and his nieces, Aine, Maeve O'Reilly, Helen and Sophie MacWilliams.
