She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; and her daughter Beth Dinitz Peters. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Dinitz-Sklar (Cary) of Edison; her son-in-law John Peters of North Haledon; her brothers, Dr. Stuart Cooper (Marilyn) and Howard Cooper (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott, Jill (Dan) and Brianne (Matthew). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
