James J. Pontrella Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Pontrella (Belleville, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on June 8, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anne "Nancy" McLoughlin; and his siblings, Michael Pontrella, Faye Pontrella, Patsy Pontrella and Victor Pontrella.
He is survived by: his children, James Pontrella, Jr. (Sharon) of Whippany, NJ, John Pontrella (Mary) of Nutley, NJ, Mary Lansmann (Richard) of Palm Harbor, FL and Anne Soliman (Michael) of Pine Brook, NJ; his siblings, George Pontrella of Belleville, NJ, George Gugliotta (Marge) of Toms River, NJ and Helen Smith of Nutley, NJ; his siblings-in-law, Helen Pontrella of Belleville, NJ and James McLoughlin (Akiko) of Carlsbad, CA.; his grandchildren, Caitlin Pontrella, Megan LoBello (Vincent), Samantha Pontrella, Laura Ritacco (Patsy), Amy DeMunno (Michael), David Pontrella, Sara Lansmann, Jenna Lansmann, Colleen Bucsko (Charles) and Alexander Soliman; and his great grandchildren, Anna Lansmann and Allison Ritacco. He is also survived by four children, who then gave them 10 grandchildren and those grandchildren gave them two great grandchildren.
