He is survived by: his wife Sirlei Turano; his children, Laura Turano, Italia "Ida" Cifelli, Michael Turano and Steven Lockhart; his sibling Esterena Scalione; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Andrea Cifelli and Michael Turano, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Heritage Fund at St. Stephen's Church, 141 Washington Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032.
