With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles J. McCarthy (Bay Head, New Jersey), born in North Plainfield, New Jersey, who passed away on December 9, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winifred McCarthy and Charles McCarthy; his sisters, Jean Fritz and Mary; and his children, Charles McCarthy and Rebecca Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte "Bunny" McCarthy; his children, Michelle Haber, Maureen Rossi and Michael Wesley McCarthy; his sister-in-law Angel Polhemus; his son-in-law John Shipley; his pets, Max and Reggie; and also Siamese. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
Interment will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. (Facial coverings are required and adherence to social distancing will be in effect at all locations.).
