It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Menke (Barrington, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 19, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Andrew Menke Jr.; and her brother Peter Lahosky. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Gerbasio (John Gerbasio) of Secaucus, Maureen Menke of Zepphyrhills, FL and John Menke III (Melissa Menke) of Barrington, R. I; her grandchildren, Anthony, Michael Gerbasio, Andrea Stephenson (Gerbasio), Catherine and Samantha Menke; her great grandchildren, Alessandra, Michael, Victoria Gerbasio, Nicholas Gerbasio and Aurelia Stephenson; and her sister Rosie Spedaliere (Lahosky).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Vera's name to the Alzheimers association (http://www.alz.org).
