We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2021, at the age of 87, Joan Elizabeth Hayes of Wilton, New Hampshire, born in Somerville, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander McCormick and Anne McCormick; her husband Lawrence Hayes; and her siblings, Charles McCormick, Katherine Loder and Nancy McCormick.
She is survived by: her friends, Barbara McKenna and John Palmer; her children, James Hayes (Brenda) of Wilton, NH, Diane Cecere of Athol, MA and Nancy Charles (David) of Athol, MA; her siblings, Donald McCormick of Somerville, MA and Marjorie Fraser of Springhill, FL; and her grandchildren, Courtney Hayes, Korie Kilgore, Kristie Kilgore, Mark Kilgore, Scott Hayes, David Cecere, David Charles, Brian Charles and Shannon Morris (Keith). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Joan's name.
