She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Farinha and Dolores Farinha; her husband Mario Balsamo; her grandson Jeffrey Miller; and her siblings, Donald Farinha, Pete Farinha and Dolores Cook (Farinha).
She is survived by: her daughter Irene Russell (James Cahill); her granddaughter Courtney McIntire; and her sisters, Joanne Burns and Norma Farinha. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
She was very passionate about donating to local charities: Disabled American Veterans, Fraternal Order Of Police and The Humane Society.
