He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence LaCoss and Mildred LaCoss (Metcalf); and his siblings, Preston, Donald LaCoss, Marjorie Farrar, Dorothy Davis and Arlene Hamel.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Emerson); and his children, Perley LaCoss Jr. (Dina) of Smethport, PA and Penney Mabey (James) of Farmington. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
