He is survived by: his wife Susan C Hatfield of Rochester, NH; his children, Melanie Merz (James) of South Berwick, Jack Jr. (Melissa) of Tilton, NH and Robert of Portsmouth, NH; and his grandchildren, Evelyn, George Merz, Oliver and Liam Hatfield.
