He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick Smith. He is survived by: his parent Grace Smith (Vohr); his siblings, Norma Jean Moore of Franklin and Frederick Smith Jr. of New Hampton; and his children, Melissa Trimble Smith of Youngstown, Rufus Vohr Smith of East Lyme and Jared Robinson Smith of Londonderry. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and eight nieces and nephews.
