He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Borda and Helen Borda (Gomez); his wife Joanne Borda (Phelps); and his sons, Scott M. Borda and Richard E. Borda III.
He is survived by: his son James W. Borda of Laconia; his siblings, Attorney Richard Borda (Carol Panza), Joanne Sainz and Marie (Joseph Nohavicka); his niece Georgiana Borda; and his nephew Attorney Kenny Nohavicka.
