She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Marshall and Ruth M. Marshall (Stevens); her children, Micheal Sawyer of Bloomfield, CT, Karen Kane (William) of Collinsville, CT, Hollis Sawyer (Mary), Karl Sawyer and Mark Sawyer (Julie) of Collinsville, CT; her husband Richard D. Sawyer; her son Wayne Sawyer (Kathleen); and her siblings, Carolyn Pinette, Patricia Lang, Geraldine Wilkinson, Herbert Marshall and Stewart Marshall. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to either the GHSAA-Hollis Sawyer Scholarship Fund; C/o Groveton High School; 65 State St.; Groveton.
