He was loved and cherished by many people including: his granddaughter Chenoa Plank; his children, Michael Lawrence Smith of Boston, MA, Rhonda Smith, Stephanie Kemmish of Elko, NV and Naomi Whitaker (Brett) of Loudon, NH; his grandchildren, Maya Plank, Christina Plank, Christopher Smith, Mariah Kemmish, Travis Kemmish, Jacob Kemmish, Briante Whitaker, Tianna Whitaker Temple (Jakob) and Michael Eli Smith; his great grandchild Samuel Plank; and his brothers, Jimmy Smith, David Smith and Frank Smith. He was also cherished by sister Janet Close, as well as many nephews and nieces.
