He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Dyer and Rita Dyer; and his sister Regina. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Dyer (Perthel) of Franklin; his children, John H. Dyer Jr. of Belmont, Raymond L. Dyer of Ostrander, Jason A. Dyer of Sumter, David A. Dyer of Gilford, Linda R. McLaughlin of Alexandria and Glorie A. Galpin of Canaan; and his sisters, Eva, Barbara, Eleanor, Bunny, Georgianna, Edie, Veronica, Jacquie and Many.
