He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Martel and Cecile Martel (Beliveau); his wife Lucienne (Boulanger); his son Thomas Martel; and his brother Leo Martel.
He is survived by: his son Steven Martel (Michelle) of Derry; his daughter-in-law Michelle Pope; and his grandsons, Joshua Martel, Joseph Martel, James Lafond and Jonathan Massie.
