He was predeceased by: his spouse Merlyn J. Gopaul (Singh); his parents, Philip Gopaul and Authoria Gopaul (Lobin); his siblings, Herbert, Rebecca, Ruby, Eva, Jean and Sadie; his grandson Christian; and his friend Burton Howell of Boston.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne of Fitchburg, Larry Gopaul of Fitchburg, Leyland Gopaul of Framingham, Wesley Gopaul of Marlborough and Armelia Mohammed of Trinidad; his grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen, Nicholas, Tia, Crystal, Anya, Farhanah and Salma; his great grandchildren, Chloe Gopaul, Elysia and Charlotte Rampersad; and his children-in-law, Gail, Sherry Gopaul, Haseeb Mohammed and Leila Phillip.
