She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Jurgens Schmidt; her grandson Sam Morgan; her parents, Louis Schoen and Mary Schoen (Agena); and her brother Lawrence Schoen.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa Johnson (Judy Gullie), Steve Schmidt (Lois), Michele Morgan (Bob) and Daron Schmidt; her sisters, Marlene Pittman and Marilyn Dissmeyer; and her siblings-in-law, Dora Schoen and Robert Schmidt (Annora). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
