He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sohl and Marie Sohl (Scheele); his former wife Mary Lynn Sohl; his grandson Jonathon Lenz; his siblings, Arlo Sohl (Betty), Merlin Sohl (Theresa), Patsy Roever and Shirley Wieden (Loren); and his brother-in-law Dave Whittwer.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Cussins; his children, Valerie Lenz (Merwin Horner) of McPherson, KS, Angela Meyer (Donnie) of Wymore, James Sohl (Missy) of Beatrice, Aaron Sohl of Wymore and Colby Sohl of Wymore; his grandchildren, Jennifer Plantenga (Chris), Joshua Lenz (Maria), Jessica Perrett (Mike), Brandon Meyer, Preston Meyer, Dalton Meyer, Cody Sohl, Alex Sohl and Xander Sohl; his siblings, Gary Sohl (Janet) of Wymore, Lawrence Sohl (Norma) of Beatrice and Janice Whittwer of Falls City; and his brother-in-law Richard Roever. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
