She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Placek and Lydia Placek (Houser); her siblings, LaVerne Ruff and Joseph William Placek; her husband Lester Tachovsky; her son John; her siblings-in-law, Lavina and Ervin Fuchs; her son Kevin Tachovsky; her daughter-in-law Kathy Tachovsky; and her grandchildren, Scott Tachovsky (Shannon), Wade Tachovsky (Jennifer), Kim Davis (Jason), Jennifer Burkhardt (Lee), Kenneth Tachovsky (Becky) and Daniel Tachovsky (Jennie). She was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be given to the Swanton Auxiliary.
