It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda E. Kasl (Wilber, Nebraska), born in Cook, Nebraska, who passed away on November 21, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernt Wilken and Augusta Wilken; her former husband Vernon Wattjes of Crab Orchard; and her siblings, Henry, William, Ben, Herman, John, Alma, Sena, Sophie and Rosie.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Kasl; her daughters, Linda Schuerman (Gordon) of Beatrice, Elaine Korinek (Jim) of Wilber and Karen Hessheimer (Dave) of Crete; her grandchildren, Angie, Anthony Meyer of Prairie Village, KS, Tom, Gretchen Schuerman of Chicago, IL, Scott, Diana Korinek of Cairo, NE, Wendy, Derek Bartee of Lincoln, Josh Hessheimer of Crete, Amber, Jason Harre of Gretna, Cody and Elle Hessheimer of Roca; her great grandchildren, Austin, Evan, Harrison Meyer, Tommy Schuerman, Kellen, Brynn, Finley Korinek, Kennedy Bartee, Kaden Artz and Lilla Hessheimer; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Keegan, Audrey, Fletcher, Bridget Olson, Jordan, Selena and Danika Harre (Richard Kasl) of Wilber. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
