He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Mejia and Dora Mejia (Almansa); his daughter Amanda Liz Hernandez; and his brother Burt Mejia. He is survived by: his wife Ernestina Martinez; his children, Marcos Mejia, Jr. and Adela Mejia of Tecumseh; his grandchildren, Rebbeca Hernandez, Arturo Hernadez, Jr., Jennifer Liz Hernandez, Marco Antiono Hernandez, Lydia Mejia, Abby Mejia, Flo Mejia, Axel Mejia and Ernestina Mejia; his great grandchild Elijah Hernandez; and his brother-in-law Lee Martinez.
