He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Meyer and Minnie C. Meyer (Baucke); his parents-in-law, George and Mary Jean Brammann; his son Steven Lynn Meyer; his granddaughter Brianna Lynn Lempka; and his sisters, Luetta (Wilbur Hitzeman), Leola (Eugene Bartels) and Bernitta (Otto Finke).
He is survived by: his wife Georgene of Tecumseh; his daughters, Angela Schmit (Dan) of Pawnee City, Susan Frederick (Chris) of Plattsmouth and Jennifer Lempka (Donovan) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Craig Schmit (Ali), Kellie Mallam (Chris), Nathan Frederick, Lauren Lempka and Aleah Lempka; his great grandchildren, Haley Schmit, Taya Schmit and Adalynn Mallam; his sisters, Bernice Rasa (Robert) of Lexington, MO and Elizabeth Longan (Robert) of Stigler, OK; and his sister-in-law Marie Burke (Michael) of Omaha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
