He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lueders and Anna Lueders (Hereth); his son Rodney Lee; his granddaughter Tracy Koehler; his siblings, Lester "Bud" (Norma), Myron (Bernice), Velma Bergmeyer (Edward), Norma Severin (Kermit) and Ruth Siems (Art); and his parents-in-law, Everett and Genevieve Minchow.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Allen, Beverly Joan and Kenneth Dean; his wife Janet; his grandchildren, Henry, Wyatt, Beverly "Bev" Koehler (Dan) and Chad Koehler (Kendra); his great grandchildren, Kaleigh and Anna Koehler; his granddaughter Danielle Lueders; his stepgranddaughter Mady Schuster (Jacob); his brother-in-law Wayne Minchow (Carol); and also, Cole Beethe, Alex Gyhra, Kenneth "Kenny", Dalton Lueders, Leyton, Breckyn, Evy, Rowan and Joey Henne (Hollie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
