He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Wagner and Lois Mae Wagner (Morris); his son Craig; and his brothers, John Wagner and Ron Wagner.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Shoemaker; his son Randy; his grandchildren, Amber, Jonathan, Jessica and Aaron; and his sister Mary Marmet. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
