She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Mittan and Grace Mittan (Dain); her husband George Stierwalt; her siblings, Donald, Russell, John, Hubert, Gordon, James, Richard, Melvin, Thomas, Frieda Torring, Helen Barger and Grace Brockhoff; her grandson Zach Beale; and her great grandchild Dylan Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Kohtz of Hastings, Tim Stierwalt of Superior, Holly Colgrove of Superior and Kelly Beale (Miles) of Nelson; her grandchildren, Jeremy Colgrove, Christina Jones, Joshua Colgrove, Jennifer Neumann (Adam), Sarah Kohtz, Grace Chipman (Shaun), Kimberly Colwell (Quentin) and Jesse Beale; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Stierwalt of Beatrice, Sue Renter of Valley, Nebraska, Mary Wheeland of Nelson and JoAnn Rothchild of Superior.
