She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmuecker and Mary Schmuecker (Steinhauser); her husband Eugene L. Slaughter; and her siblings, Joseph, Edward, Madonna and Ida Smith. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-law and many good friends.
