He was predeceased by: his parents, Einer Rasmussen and Clara Rasmussen (Gregersen); his sister Ruth Olson; and his brother-in-law Frank Fritz. He is survived by: his wife Carol Rasmussen of Sidney, IA; and his children, Bob Rasmussen (Rhonda Curtis) of Mt. Zion, IL, Micki Wichman (Damon Stutheit) of Nebraska City, NE and Marlys Nicolosi of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a Church or School of the Donor's choice.
