Ioan Childers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ioan Childers of Sidney, Nebraska, who passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent "James" Vavra and Helen Blanche Vavra (Herman); her grandparents, Carl A., Anna Herman (Pacooska), Joseph and Mary Vavra (Knap); and her children, Kenneth, Korla, James, Michael, Brian and Phillip.
They had a good go from 2004 to 2020 when COVID hit and she was unable to take care of herself and get to the Dr. regularly, so she went to live in Bassett with daughter, Korla.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church, Sidney, Nebraska.
