Pickens of Sidney, Nebraska, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Abeyta and Leona Abeyta (Benavides); and her parents-in-law, Jim and Marilyn Pickens. She is survived by: her husband Andrew Pickens of Sidney, NE; her daughter Courtney Wernsman of Sterling; her grandchildren, Tymber and Trypp Wernsman; her son Tyler Pickens (Samara) of Akron, CO; her grandchildren, Shayna and Jacoby Pickens; her brothers, Mitch Abeyta (Cindy) of Hartsel, CO and Mike Abeyta of Denver, CO; and her sister-in-law Ayn Scott (Bruce) of Sedalia, CO. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
