He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Dick and Laura Phillips; and his brother-in-law Jim Costello. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Kihlthau and Vonda Kihlthau (Ross); his wife Annie Kihlthau; his daughter Kristin Aragon; his stepsons, Nathan (Corrina) and Matthew Douglas; his grandchildren, Alexis Thorn, D'nesha, Kaity, Jace, Harlow, Dominic Douglas, Jon Billie and Isaiah Douglas; his great grandchild Phoenix; his siblings, Paula Becking (Mike) and Brad Kihlthau (Paula); his sisters-in-law, Carla Orozco (Amador), Jamie Costello, Rebecca Jackson (Scott) and Terri Phillips (Rob); and his niece Amanda Orozco. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Memorials may be given to Brookestone Hospice.
