She was predeceased by: her parents, Adella Belina (Hamsa) and Lad Belina; her parents-in-law, Catherine and Emil Kasik; her brothers, Marvin, Alden, Delvin Belina and Lodie; and her great grandchild Leo Murchie.

She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Kasik; her daughters, Janis Kasik of Schuyler, NE, Jill Spale, Chelsea Kasik and Bonnie McPhillips (William) of Columbus, NE; her grandchildren, Justin, Levi McPhillips and Julie Spellerberg of Blair, NE; her great grandchildren, Joey, Johnny, Jenna Spellerberg and Mary Walker (Mark) of Bennington, NE; and also, Jake, Abby Walker, Mark Kasik (Louise) of Columbus, NE, Kristi Murchie, Eric, Jeremy, Luke, Joel, Nathan Kasik, Glenn Kasik (Teresa) of Sargent Bluffs, IA, Ashley Labenz, Josie, Jessie Kasik, John Kasik of Richland, NE, Allison Almazan, Michael, Lauren Kasik, Steve Kasik of Uehling, NE, Katie, Tony Kasik, Tom Kasik of Richland, NE, Joe Kasik (Heather) of Leigh, NE, Hannah, Alissa, Kyle, Ava and Mariah. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.

The family is requesting no flowers. Marilyn's wishes for memorials are: Make A Wish Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Simon House in Columbus, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leigh or St. Isidores Church in Columbus.
