Lavonne Chatfield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonne Chatfield of Schuyler, Nebraska, born in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on February 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Barry Chappell; her stepson Randy Chatfield; her parent Maurine; her stepfather Leonard "Mike" Fraka; and her former husband Wilson "Chatty" Chatfield.
She is survived by: her children, Allan (Lori), Randy Chappell, Mark Chappell, Mike Chatfield Schuyler, Laurie Meyer (Bryce) of Ricketts, IA and Lynda Cerny (Tom); her stepsons, Wison, Bill, Lonnie and Brad Belleville (Pam); her former husband Donnie Chappell of Hutchinson, KS; and her cousins, Ronnie Ullom and Buddy Morrow. She is also survived by her 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She then came back to North bend shortly after in October of 2020 but her health was not good and she ended up in the hospital, skilled care at Nye Legacy and her last 2 months at Nye Point skilled nursing home in Fremont Where she was cared for and looked after like family which was a big relief since covid restricted visitors from visiting.
In Lieu of flowers, plants and statues the family requests memorials be directed to the family so they can make donations to animal shelters in her name.
