He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Evelyn; and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his children, Holly (Gordon), Mary Jean and F. J. (Jenna); his grandchildren, Caitlin Lortz, Jack Lortz and Jack Higgins; his great grandchildren, Lily and Athan Stavropoulos; his sister Patricia Bergstrom (Bob); and his nieces, Jacquie Boggs and Candace Krukas.
