He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Vogel (Ben) and Elizabeth Vogel (Ulrich); and his siblings, Edwin Vogel (Wilma), Edward Vogel (Eleanor), Helen Wieneke (Paul), Adeline Wieneke (Vincent), Gertrude Wilde (Lloyd), Raineldis Pietzmeier (Henry) and Alvina Kalisek (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Faltin; his children, Linda Cattau (Clifford) of Columbus and Duane (Carla Reynolds) of Gretna; his grandsons, Christopher Cattau and Aaron Cattau (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Kierslyn, Axel, Declan, Cayton and Riddick Cattau; his sister Rose Franzluebbers (Joe); and his brother-in-law Gilbert Faltin (Dolores). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
