She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Tiensvold and Lloyd Tiensvold; her husband Norman "Lyle" Elwood; her siblings, Lloyd "Buddy" Tiensvold and Judy Radtke; her granddaughter Chelsey Palmer; and her son-in-law Steve Coburn.
She is survived by: her sister Marge Hinn; and her children, Susan Cook (Bruce) of Alliance, Steven Elwood (Carol) of Rushville, Sheryl Buskirk (Tracy) of Alliance, Soni Palmer (Mark) of Alliance, Shelli Smith (Eugene) of Alliance, Sindy Coburn of Rushville and Scott Elwood (Jill) of Carlton, MN. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A memorial has been established for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Pioneer Manor Nursing Home and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
