He was predeceased by: his parents, Encarnacion Silva and Josefa Silva (Gomez); his wife Betty Solon; and his siblings, Simon, Johnny, Augustina and Christy.
He is survived by: his children, Fredrica Calvert (Larry) of Dayton, NV, Brooks Utterback (Ed) of Plattsmouth, NE and Silva Domingo Solon of San Francisco, CA; his granddaughters, Amanda Spencer (Andrew) of McKinney, TX and Georgia Ryba (Jon) of Bellevue, NE; his great grandchild Joy Ryba; and his brother Louis Silva (Lilly) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
